Hello Bobby,
I just completed your "Trifecta: The Business of Betting Thoroughbreds for Profit" and would like to thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable read. The information was insightful, interesting and pertinent, but most of all it was easy to assimilate and I look forward to putting it to good use. The sections on self-management/self-
handicapping were
especially helpful and much appreciated. You have obviously served as a mentor and it shows in your subject matter and in the way you present your material. Bravo!
The handicapping world will certainly benefit from your message.
Now, before I sit down and re-read the book, could you please send me copies of the checklists for contender selection? I purchased your book via Amazon, and none of the graphs are not showing up very well on the Kindle. (I tried landscape mode without much improvement.). I think I must be missing some of the information!
Also, do you think any of your other books will be presented in the Kindle format? I travel a good bit and prefer the electronic format, but when I went back online to purchase "Bet To Win!," I noticed it was not available. If it contains unique information, I thought I might need to read it before "Trifecta."
Anyway, thanks again for the book and for the motivation.
Mary Ann
P. S. Loved the jokes, especially the one about the sale of the dead horse. That kid was a born salesman!
Hi Mr. Zen,
I just finished reading your Trifecta book via kindle on my iPhone. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and am eager to apply the lessons learned. I am just starting into this world of handicapping, and appreciate a veterans advise. I am mostly drawn to your handicappers, and contenders check list. Unfortunately the kindle format on the iPhone does not do justice to your examples listed in the book, and are basically chopped up and illegible. Would it be possible to email an example of these checklists, so I can see how they are layed out? I also had a few questions about the stats that go in the checklists, but before I bore you with them, does your book Bet to Win go into depth on the making of these lists?
Thank you!
Jon
Wow.. I have had a chance to go over the info you sent, and it makes the world of difference seeing it this way. How it appears on the iPhone does not even compare. I am also watching the replays and downloaded the pp for the race you sent too. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
I will be sure to check back in to let you know how it goes. I have only just recently been bitten by the horse bug(Dec 17), and can tell already I'm off on the right foot. I only wish I had more history to give a reasonable comparison of my performance pre and post BZ guidance.
I really look forward to reading Bet to Win, and letting everyone know that you are the real deal.
Best Regards,
jon
Just got finished with your new book. Enjoyed it especially because it uses brisnet ultimate past performances which I use and like for info and they are free when you Bet at twinspires. I bought the book on my kindle so charts and tools are not easy to use. Can you send me any tools that you use through an email please. Thanks Steve .
Sent from my Kindle Fire
I have found your book to be very useful. The brisnet power ratings and pace performances have been very useful. I have been doing consistently well...hit a pick four at the fairgrounds last week. It wasn't always like this. Took years before I felt confident. But I'm not telling you anything you don't know.
